New research developments on autonomous vehicles
Crossing disciplinary views

Hybrid event organized by Jean-Marie Bonnin & Raouf Boucekkine

Autonomous vehicles (AV) have emerged in the late 70s, they have been since then the subject of numerous research projects. While the initial projects have been specifically focused on the inherent technological developments, AVs have attracted along the way a strong and continuous interest in other disciplines, including philosophers, neuroscientists, economists and lawyers, not speaking about more immediately connected disciplines like transportation and environmental sciences.

These Conferences on Artificial Intelligence and Digitalisation (CAID) are viewed as a broad interdisciplinary forum to exchange on the different issues raised by the AV project in the light of the recent developments in the disciplines concerned, the ultimate objective being to build up an articulated interdisciplinary knowledge in the field.
